Tournament practice Whooho!

so last day i was at Outland meeting up with some cool guys, so if read my last post you know that there is a new tournament up, so today 5 of us was practicing for the tournament, but because of time i only got to play 2 matches, but hey, that does not mean it's not fun :) so first game was against Robin, he played as grey knights, so this was my first ever match against them so you can guess the result ;) so second game was against Blood Angles for the third freaking time in a row! but this time i managed a draw so i am actually happy, he had Tree razorbacks with Lasplas, three pred's with autocannons and heavy bolter sponsens, and oh, thats not all, he also had three baal pred's and Mephiston as a HQ! so i managed a draw against that, i was happy.

New Army, a huge thanks and Tournament Time!

yay! another tournament is coming up, but this is not a doubles tournament, this is solo, so i have been playing guard for a long time now, love the army and i will still continue with it, but years have gone and i am wanted to try something else, and that something else is Chaos Space Marines, i choose them because of many thing,s such as: they hate space marines (such as me), they are cool looking, and they have many cool guy,s you can use such as Kharn, Abaddon, Lucius, Ahriman and one of my favorites Typhus, so i was supposed to just have them up to like 1000 point army, but when i played a couple matches as them, the Chaos Gods corrupted my mind and soul, just kidding, but seriously they where awesome to play as, so they are not my little army anymore, they are my secondary army. so the tournament i am going to now is much bigger then the one i was on, on the last tournament there was like 14 guys playing so it,s not that bad, but this one they are used to have like 40-50 guy,s on, so its gonna be Awesome! now on this tournament it is a age limit of 16, so i asked if i could join because i know all the rules and i have been participating in tournaments and Apocalypses, so they said they will have to look into it, so a couple a days later i head down to my local gaming store (Outland) and i play a couple of matches and stuff, so i had a chat with one of the employes called Fredrik, (Awesome dude BTW) so we start talking about tournaments and stuff and i said that i was trying to participate on Strategikon (wich is the tournament) so he says that he knows the guy who has the tournament, and he could maybe tell a couple of things like i know the rules and stuff and i have been participating on Apocalypses in Outland and stuff, so i say "yeah that will be great, Thank You" and so on, and then a couple more days go by and i get a PM on the forum from Jonas (one of the guy,s who has the tournament) wich is saying:"Fredrik from Outland has spoken well of you, so we are giving you the chance to participate on the tournament :D"

so a HUGE thanks to you Fredrik you are Awesome man, can't thank you enough :D!

The new Army

as you may know, i have started a CSM army (Chaos Space Marine), but i do not know how many points there are but i think around 1000pts. i have for now Abaddon the Despoiler, Huron Blackheart, 1 tac squad, 20 khorne berzerkers (12 not assembled), 1 rhino, possesed squad and a group of 5 chosens. my plan is to have Huron as leader of the chosen and buy abaddon a squad of terminators wich he can lead.

Update: Dark horizon ending and a secondary army!

sorry for not been posting in a while, but here,s one now. so Dark Horizon was Awesome, the terrain was Awesome, i met some familiar faces and new people including a guy yelling "FUCK YEAH!" and "FOOTBALL!", but still he was a nice guy, Rik and i was not doing so well on the first day, we lost all matches, but the last one of that day was pretty close, but still no. second day was alot better, Rik changed his army from Witch Hunters to Imperial Guard, but still we won only one game, but we did actually win the one that counted, the mission was that there where 3 guys on the battlefield, and one of them was supposed to  be a guy named Edwardo, so Rik and i,s mission was to save at least one of these guy,s and we agreed to only go for one guy because that was alot of easier then collect all three, so the opposing team mission was to kill all of them ("All must die!" victor reznov), but since my storm troopers was allowed to infiltrate, they where able to capture the guy we where after when we deployed, so i kept falling back to a building and stayed there for the match while the other forces handled the dirty work, so we where camping all the match and we managed to win! yay! and the overall result the grey knights (more spesific White Scars) won!


so secondary army, i know that that i was saying that i would not change army, but i wanted to try something else, and that something else is Chaos Space Marines!  my birthday is today (6. june), but i was having the  party at the day before, and the day before that, mom and dad said to me get some shoes on, so i did, and i had no idea where we where going, so i fall asleep in the car, and then i hear dad saying wake up we are here, so i looked out the window and we where parked outside Games Workshop, so we went in and he said, if you go get the things you want i will be standing here he said with a smile, so i was so exited and thankfull (i thanked them like 20 times or something) that i grabbed a CSM battle force, codex and spray. so i do not know how many points i am up to but my list for noe is:

8 Khorne Berzerkers
1 Tac squad
5 chosen
5 possesed
and a rhino

Multi Regiments

i been thinking about my next Army, and you know what, i am not, because i will continue with Imperial Guard, i will only be having other regiments, like Winter regiment, jungle and stuff like that. each Regiment will be 7000pts, why that? so that i can join tournaments and Apocalypse,s and stuff like that, with that many points, i can join anything, if it,s not a really big Apocalypse or tournament. now that i have a 3000pts Cadiens, i will finish them up and then start my plan.

Thinking List,s?

i am thinking on my new imperial guard list, but now that i have trade most of space marines for guards, i have many unpainted stuff ft. 10 kasrkin,s, a leman russ and i am going to get a bunch of last chancers and a basilisk. i have a golden rule, i paint up everything before i buy something new, i get this strange feeling if i put out unpainted model,s on the battlefield. well well. so that,s a bummer to my plan, but the plan come,s right out of my brain (who know,s what,s in there?) and i have not said that the plan is quick so, but afterall, it is a plan right?

here,s the plan:

i am going for mech infantry, but not with all chimera,s, but valkyries too. see i tested a strategy on one of my friend,s i waited one round for him too get closer to my table edge, so i have 3 deep striking units: Valkyrie with veterans inside and 2 squads og storm trooper,s. so i managed to surround him, he get,s confused, and starting blast all around, and doing stupid things like trying to deep strike behind my storm troopers, and scatter,s off the table, and then he have to take a deep strike mishap and he roll,s bad and ending up by destroying the whole unit. and instead of using normal trooper squad,s i will go with veterans, because they hit on 3+ because of their BS of 4, and they can be upgraded to carry carapace armour wich grants them 4+ save and they can carry 3 special weapons. anyway back to me crushing eldar, if you think that 3 deep striking units is much? how about 6 units, i know i am crazy, but if i have 4 valkyries, and 4 chimeras, supported by a Manticore, 2 Punisher,s, and 2 battle tanks, this is gonna be a hell of an army. right about now my list is up to 3113pts without counting the basilisk and the leman russ, so its over 3300pts, and if i get my plan to work, i can get to maybe be over 4000pts. and i also thought of getting two vanquisher,s, they are good at hunting monster/ tank,s, and they can take down some important hero,s like avatar or daemon prince and stuff like that.

Dark Horizon - Norwegian History Based Doubles Tournament

this will be a cool month for me, i am going to a doubles tournament in Oslo 28-29 may, i will of course be playing with my Imperial Guard, and my partner will be playing Sisters Of Battle. unfortunately i am sick (for the time), but i am feeling much better now then i did couple days ago, so that won,t prevent me from testing my partner,s list out this weekend in Oslo. now there are a ton of special rules in this tournament for example: no 2+ armour save, no 2+ invournable save, max 2 wounds, max 33 in armour (vehicles) and more. the points limit is 400pts, why that is because you have to bring your finest miniatures, and they must look good and be fully based and painted. now the terrain is supposed to be the best in all of norway, and it is, the terrain is awesome, i have not seen it in real life, but i have seen some pictures of the tables.

ok here is my list:

HQ: Ministorum Priest

Elites: 10 man squad of Storm Troopers ink. power sword and 2 flamers

Troops: veteran squad ink. 2 plasma guns and 1 flamer

Dedicated Transport: Chimera ink. dozer blade, heavy flamer and multi laser.

now this will make 385pts so i still do not know what to use those extra 15pts for.

2 battles in 1 day: Result

yesterday i was at outland playing two games, 1. was Imperial Guard (me) vs Blood Angels (Jamie). the result: i lost , we where playing capture and control and i,m used to play kill points so i forgot to capture and started killing people instead and that was the reason i lost 3-0. second game was Imperial Guard vs Tyranids Hive Fleet Graak (christian). the result: draw, we played seize ground and we both hold our objectives in the end i tried to capture his objective by deep striking with my valkyrie with my veteran,s inside, but that did not work because of my bad rolling skills with dices. but still i,m happy with the result because its better to end with a draw then losing, still you lose yourself but also your opponent loses to.

Hey guy,s, wanna play a game or two? well if you want to play a game............ or two, you can comment where and when and tell me what kind of battle you want (only warhammer40k), and if you want to play a team game, small tournament (only if we get enough people to be there) or a small Apocalypse, i can invite some friends or you want to invite some of your friends or if you just wanna play a one vs one match.

MY ARMY: i got Imperial Guard 2200 pts but if you want to play a Apocalypse i got 2700 pts if i throw in my Meat Grinder (apocalypse vehicle).

Apocalypse Ending and some new stuff :D

ok guys this is the ending result if the Apocalypse game: are you ready for it? i don,t think so? are you sure ok, it was a tie! with our enemy had full of reinforcements we did,nt have that many reserves as they had, so our supreme commander maid the choice to pull all of our armies back to the bridge to hold our objective and make it a draw. i didnt get what the good guys objective was but so long i got to kill things i was happy! so this was my first apocalypse ever and got a good result out of it, yeah i know some people think that if a game end,s with a tie it counts the same as a loss but i don,t care, i had a great time so im am very happy i also met some really cool people to.

About Me and some other stuff

hello everyone. Mi name is Tobias Olsen Johnsgård i come from a small town in Norway Called Gan, it is not far away from Fetsund. I am 13 years old and i am playing Warhammer 40k with the army of Imperial Guardsmen. My army does not have any special name it,s just a Cadien regiment. im not often or rare in Oslo but from now on i will try to be there more often as possible to you know, play more.

My army?
right about now i have like 2500pts of Guardsmen, but the army is still growing. my buy goal is to get 3 more chimera,s and a Baneblade. i allready have one vehicle wich counts as a baneblade, he is called: Meat Grinder. i have gotten some good feedback on it, so it seem,s like people like it, and that,s good news.

what,s happenin?
well right now i am participate a Apocalypse that is called: What Price Victory Weekend? it is an Apocalypse in Outland wich is in Kirkegata 23 in Oslo, anyway i am having a great time there with my 1500pt guardsmen, or in this case i am on the evil side so i guess i am playing as traitor Guardsmen also know as Renegade Guardsmen. so far i lost 1 leman russ battle tank and some troops, but the one i am most proud of is Meat Grinder, he survived 2 heavy large blast shots and a Dreadknight! so i am really proud and impressed of it! but the battle continues Tomorrow (sunday) 11.30 at Outland. and i have met some really cool people, among them is Rik a really cool guy who has a amazing Imperial Guard Army go check out his blog : http://boltcatchers.blogspot.com/
